Prabhas is on the brink of achieving his second-highest-grossing film title, as Salaar is poised to surpass the worldwide box office collection of Baahubali: The Beginning. The action-packed film, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, directed by Prashanth Neel, is making waves at the global box office. Having crossed the coveted ₹600 crore mark globally a day earlier, Salaar has now reached ₹644 crore on its 11th day of release.

On the eleventh day, Salaar added ₹12.60 crore in Hindi to its collection. The film’s total domestic earnings stand at ₹495.30 crore, with overseas collections reaching ₹149.50 crore. Consequently, Salaar’s cumulative worldwide box office collection has reached ₹644.80 crore. This brings Salaar close to Prabhas’ second-highest-grossing film, SS Rajamouli’s 2015 period epic Baahubali: The Beginning, which holds a worldwide total of ₹650 crore. Prabhas’ highest-grossing film remains the sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), with an impressive ₹1788 crore.

He thanked them for the love showered on his latest release, writing, “While I decide the fate of Khansaar, you all sit back and have a fantastic New Year darlings! Thank you for owning #SalaarCeaseFire and making it a big success.”

According to Hombale Films, the production banner behind Salaar, the movie set a record with ₹178.7 crore earnings on its first day, making it the best opening for any Indian title in 2023.

Set in the fictional dystopian city-state of Khansaar, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire narrates the friendship between Deva (Prabhas), a tribesman, and Varadha (Prithviraj Sukumaran), the prince of Khansaar. The cast includes Shruti Haasan, Eshwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, and Sriya Reddy. Released in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi on December 22, Salaar had a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki.
