Delhi’s electric vehicle policy receives an extension until March 31, 2026, allowing for comprehensive public consultations before a new policy is implemented. The revised policy will address EV charging infrastructure, subsidies, and e-waste disposal. A draft proposes banning petrol, diesel, and CNG two-wheelers from August 15, 2026, and transitioning to electric auto-rickshaws by August 2025.
